Hello, Joe.

I do believe it’s possible that the people in this ad genuinely believe they are “Joe the Plumber.” However, I do NOT think it’s possible that they could look more “dead behind the eyes.”

My Name is Hillary and I’m a PC

This article likens Barack Obama’s campaign site to a Mac and Hillary’s to a PC. A genius association for the Obama camp as there is nothing more polarizing to enthusiastic mac-lovers as a PC users, but PC users generally are open to, if not desire, eventually becoming Mac users. At least this is my experience. Thoughts?

Political Smolitical Ads Smads…

by Rachel Timmerman at 1:40 pm No Comments

Here’s something that bewilders me to no end. Why is it that political camps, these Ivy League educated scholars of rhetoric and public image, can’t make a decent ad? Doesn’t it seem like producing a decent (highly) controlled public message would be the most rudimentary function that these people are capable of? Seems to me this is the least of what we should be able to expect.

I’m declaring this one as the best of the worst.

I must begrudgingly admit that this got one smile and half a chuckle out of me. Sure “Chuck Norris Facts” may be oh-so 2005, but they still get the people going, don’t they?
