So, this was a surprisingly inspiring little talk by Elizabeth Gilbert, author of the best-selling memoir “Eat, Pray, Love.” Maybe you read the book, maybe you didn’t. It doesn’t matter. The way she approaches ideas about the creative process is mind altering and potentially life changing. I’ll be so bold as to say it may even shield your spirit from snarling creative directors and the most conservative minded clients.

An Option If Your Life Really Starts Sucking

According to Iconoculture, more and more Americans are committing Pseudocide….or faking their own deaths. Should your life go to shit this might be a good idea (provided that you could manage to live with the nagging guilt of your friends and loved ones morning your untimely demise every waking day for the rest of your estranged existence).

Thankfully there’s an instructional book to help you navigate your pseudocidal journey. It’s called “How to Disappear Completely and Never Be Found.” I just bought a copy on Amazon. Mostly to keep in an obvious location in my office and freak out observant people, but also because I guess you just never know when you might need a solid back up plan.
